Black Women: Heart and Soul of Past,
Present and Future Black women are on the bottom of all of these questions,
a triple oppressed population, heading nearly 70% (7 out of every 10) families in the United States, while making only 73 cents on a dollar
to that earned by a white man.
As researchers you must always set events within their proper moment,
their proper context, their actual epoch. People emerge to make contributions within a specific epoch, under certain conditions,
under circumstances matured before they became adults. There are no miracles; the best prepared almost always win.
The least prepared almost always lose. Even when a loser wins something they will lose it in the end to someone/some
group who is better prepared and more aggressive.
If a population is always winning, they are doing the
opposite of the population that is always losing. We are either unable, able, or unwilling to do something about
any life situation. There are no other logical positions. Black enslavement lasts as long as it has because
Black masses have been unwilling to do the necessary things that winners do to end that enslavement. In order to know our
prospects for success and failure we must carefully study ourselves within the context of the social system we evolve/grow/develop
under.
What is the general historical epochal flow of the United States? How did it start and
what is it headed toward in its ending? Where does the Black population in general and Black women in particular fit
in? Which class rules? Which race rules? Which sex/gender rules? Which culture rules? Which ethnic group
rules? Who wrote the supreme law of the land: the constitution? In who's interest was it written? Who’s
social-psychology dominates the society?
As goes over
27+million Black women in the United States in 2008+, so goes the entire Black family that she overwhelmingly supports.
When she is homeless the children are homeless. When she does not eat, the children go hungry. When she has no
transportation, no security, no savings, no chance of a future, no help, Black children have nothing. When she is kept
from education, her children are deprived of early education fundamental to their later growth and development. When
men are lording over women, dominating, deciding fate, determining destiny, there is no equality. Equality means the
same thing on one side that is on the other. Nothing Black people have learned from being enslaved by whites and Arabs
has worked for Black families. Let the oppressors have their family structures and values; if they want 50% of their
population leading, let them. We should lead with 100% of our population on the front line, side by side. No male chauvinism/supremacy;
no answers dropping from the sky; no time wasted speculating, no guessing, no making up male saviors, or replacing fact with
fiction. To understand how we got in this situation, go to the historical record and critically analyze/synthesize it.
The
United States is a living, developing societal organism with an economy, social system, political system/government,
health care, education, legal system, communication/mass media system, cultural system, etc. White men are literally
at the head of every single significant power institution in the nation. The nation has a period of birth, maturation,
decline/regression, death and rebirth in a higher social arrangement. Like a planet, it won't last forever. Researchers
must intimately understand the flow of this epoch and the place of African women/men/children so that they know
what to do. This transition from mechanical to computer automated fits within this epoch. Everyone earning a living is organized
around it, for better or worst. A race, class, gender, culture, and generation owns it, and even controls the lives
of the populations around it (regardless of their skin color). In the past one section did mechanical labor (whites),
and one section did manual labor (black people); one gender did the house work and the other gender did the field work.
But in the case of the enslaved Black population these brute whitemen raped and bred Black woman, forced them to work in the
field and in the house, and used them as plows and as nannies/nursemaids.
A labor hierarchy has a
wage hierarchy built in; a wage/salary hierarchy has a living standard/life opportunity structure built in also. If
the person was enslaved they had no wage, they had no means of living outside of the filthy life the degenerate whites allowed
for them. Your standard of living determines your quality of life. In short, the whites ruling class set up a
system that determines your living standard or even if you will live. If you are a Black woman, you were/are at
the very bottom of that system.
In the current period, 2008+, Computer Automated Machine Production
aims at total elimination of manual labor. Black workers, Black women, and Black children will be hardest hit,
given they were organized around obsolete manual labor and discriminated against intensely. The modern period is a
transition from capitalism and socialism to something unnamed, after a period of fascist regression/repression.
This period will be unforgiving to daydreamers and those believing in tooth-fairies. Today,
mechanical labor is being thrown down to the level of manual labor and manual labor is being pushed out into the streets,
homeless. Foreclosures, repossessions, cuts in health-care, cuts in childcare, cuts in welfare, cuts in food programs,
increased gas prices, increased utilities prices, increased unemployment---all of these directly harm Black women the most
because they head over 70% of Black families. When a child is sick, in most Black families, the mother must find a way
to get them well. When a family is evicted, it is usually the Black woman who as to find some way for the children to
have a roof over their head, clothes on their backs, food in their stomachs and a school to got to. When it is parent-teacher
day in over 90% of the cases women are their with their children. The Black father is usually nowhere to be found.
When a child needs home work help it is usually the mother that helps, or puts them into an after school program that
helps them improve. We all must appreciate the weight of this situation given that the economic system is about
to collapse. Every condition of life will get that much harder to live.
Foundations
We slice into history, October 12th 1492, as Columbus ship-wrecked in the Caribbean Islands,
thinking he was in India. Lost, but with guns, cannons, steel swords, and diseases, most of the world was one big playground
for these hired white killers. He and other whites came to do what they did: steal, kill, conquer, and enslave. And
they and other Europeans and Arabs did just that---killing and enslaving enough Africans to populate every square yard of
the moon, two times over. Disrupted, corrupted, and in many ways destroyed, large sections of the African continent
by the 15th century was easy prey for what became the Holocaust of African Enslavement (Arab and European variant). This process
is the reason why millions of Africans are scattered throughout the Western and Eastern Hemispheres. It also holds the key
to the present condition of African people everywhere in the world---with Black women being forced to the bottom of this male
dominated/parasitic pecking order.
Until 1492ad, what became called North America had been settled almost exclusively by successive waves of Asians who migrated into the Western Hemisphere by way of the Bering Straits at the end of the fourth glaciation period (the
Wisconsin glaciation) beginning 25,000-40,000 years ago.
What began in the 15th century as intercontinental treasure hunts, culminated in European colonization of already
inhabited land in India, Northern Africa, West Africa, South Africa, Southeast Asia,
Caribbean Islands, Central America, South America, North America,
China, Australia, Greenland, Iceland, Oceania, the
Pacific Islands, Siberia, New Zealand, etc. Therefore, what became called the United States, (occupying 3,678,896 square miles of land
mass, latitude 24'N to 49'W and longitude 67'W to 124'W east by the Atlantic Ocean and west by the Pacific
Ocean), is but one significant offspring of this epochal process.
Not being an indigenous creation, this modern white economic system was initially transplanted from Europe by the first white invaders
who came into the Western Hemisphere, after they exterminated the indigenous nonwhite people.
The white Christian religion, the European-centered educational system, the white supremacist legal system,
white-benefiting economic system, the whites only political system, the white supremacist social system, and the white-centered
cultural system were all derived from European societies. The complex basis, superstructure, and ideological
reflection started small and eventually grew into what it is today. It has literally run on auto-pilot since
1791 with a few adjustments here and there. The fundamentals, the vitals are in tact, however: capitalist class,
white race, male gender, English/greco-roman culture, Christian religion of the Romans handed to enslaver King James
and his slew of English bible writers, and of course, military aggression. Conservatives and nazis today prepare to
seize more of this; liberals and moderates want the same but at a slower pace and more covert.
This racist, male dominated, Greco-roman culturally hegemonic white system,
created in the image and interest of whites from its inception, based its very existence on: (1) the extermination indigenous
Chechimecans, (2) the seizure of their land, (3) the kidnapping and enslavement of the African race, breeding its women, stealing
and selling its children, and (4) the working to death of millions of Africans for a profit. Out of this mixture,
they built a nation. There is no world trade for whites without the commodities (sugar, tobacco, cotton,
cocoa, indigo, coffee, palm oil, peanuts, tea, rum, dates, corn, rice, gold, diamonds, silver, etc.) that millions and
millions of Black people produced. Their boats/ships/wagons/and trains would have been empty if it were not for the
kidnapped and enslaved Black bodies and the fruits of their labor.
African Women at the Center
Around this enslaved
African nucleus of African women---being bred by the millions and their children being stolen, sold, and worked to death---grew
entire white towns, cities, standard metropolitan units, production regions, states, nations, multinational market networks---an
entire (presently merging), white capitalist and even parts of the socialist world economy. Take away what
the Black people produced and you take away the entire intercontinental economic system between whites. They would
not have many ships, and the ships they had would be empty. All profitable exchange and commerce
between the two systems was based on African slave produced goods and raw materials in the south and refined manufactured
products in the north. At one time tobacco was the currency of Virginia, the founding colony of the 13 colonies.
Even the ships, universities, and churches were organized around the fruits of Black slavery. Brown University, Princeton,
Yale, Harvard, Cornell, Dartmouth, Colgate---go and read their histories, carefully. Most of these universities
were funded directly from the profits maded working to death Black people in the tens of millions. Finished products
to the South went to the slavemaster in exchange for the cash crops/goods the Black population produced.
Whip in hand, slavers were at best a lazy pack of parasites preying off of powerless, prostrated people pillaged into slave
prison labor on plantations. These sorry white brutes had guns, and Black people did not take them from them.
And so, almost on autopilot, this murderous slave system ruined the lives of hundreds of millions of innocent Black women,
men and children until the whites fought a war to set up a more refined system of working to death Black populations. There
were revolts, over 396 documented; but most were poorly planned, almost all had Black snitches helping the white enslavers,
and only a few ended in anything remotely successful. Intimately harmed every moment of their enslaved life, none of
them became what they should have been or could have been. On the food chain, Africans were at the bottom
aligned with horses, goats, and pigs.
The brute slaver's dog even ate better. African
women and children were in even worst shape, because in many cases they were not only defenseless populations to be worked
to death, and mistreated, but there was not even a hint of restraint shown on the part of the white rapist/breeder.
On innocent women, and young boys and girls, these white and Arab brutes had their way. In the United
States and the rest of the western hemisphere, this degenerate slave/capitalist hybrid system was for the 100
percent benefit of the white race; almost all of them defended it because they got something out of it. It worked
for them. The poorest white brute was over the richest Black freedman. What democracy? What freedom? What
equality? What white group organized to end this degenerate white arrangement completely? None. All abolitionists,
liberals, communists, etc disbanded after the limited reforms they fought for were achieved---for themselves. Study
the documentary record. Only those in a fantasy world would defend any aspect of this rotten slave system, past and
present.
Between 1720 and 1791, the North and South economic systems grew as a result
of profitable African slave production to the extent that they were able to break ties with the English motherland.
From 1776 to 1791, whites in the 13 colonies declared their independence, win their war of liberation, establish
strong political bonds, set up their government, establish their bill of rights, and prepared to fasten slavery on the backs
of the African race for another 100 years. And they did.
It was during the time frame 1820-1860 that these two economic systems within the same white
nation, grew, developed, inter-penetrated geographically, merged, inverted, then clashed over the rights to stolen land
in the west and the profits from working enslaved Africans to death, tried to compromise their differences, but eventually
ended up in Civil War, a civil war organized by whites, in the interest of whites, for the benefit of whites.
Blacks had been fighting against slavery (although highly disorganized/confused) since the time that they were cargoed
over in boats, but as soon as the conditions allowed their Abolitionist movement life, the whites infiltrated the Black Abolitionist
movement, took it over, and directed it in the interest and benefit of whites, then disbanded when they achieved freedom to
steal land out west without sharing it with slave plantations. As the war was fought, whites in the North
(calling themselves liberals) and the South both made "contraband" out of Africans.
In 1865, after the whites in the North won the Civil War with the aid
of millions of Africans, and after the reconstruction period (1865-1872) whereby whites rebuilt their country and passed pacifying
amendments to their constitution which they did not observe, Africans were next fastened to serfdom without political
rights are economic means, and terrorized by murderous/cowardly white lynch mobs, dressed in sheets for another 85 years.
Africans were moved from slave oppression to feudal serf-like oppression in yet another parasitic system of exploitation
called sharecropping. Millions were worked to death and lived miserable lives in bondage.
Almost unanimously, whites unified across class, cultural, and gender
lines to protect slavery. "All class unity" was parasitically perfected by these slavers and their white hanger-ons.
Even the "Five Civilized Indian Tribes" enslaved Africans for well over a hundred years. Many of these people,
who Blacks today cry crocodile tears over, marched to their death with a rope around an enslaved African's neck in
the so-called "Trail of Tears." African women were being dragged around underneath the Black man, who was being
dragged around by the Indian, who was being dragged around by the white man.
At the same time whites always
benefited most from forced fundamental changes in their system. They fought each other to end slavery only when they
had a source of energy more productive and more profitable (machine/mechanized production). Then they fastened sharecropping
slavery and brute lynch law to Blacks well into the 1960's. Cotton still had to be picked, somebody
had to pick it, the whites were not going to. The filthiest work still had to be done; the whites were not going to
do it. The Blacks were, therefore, terrorized back into doing it. At the end of Reconstruction, you would
not know that slavery had ended in many states. It had not. Slave-owner political power had ended; they had
lost control of the federal government and southern regional hegemony. The North whites, capitalists, industrialists,
and financiers now ruled. As opposed to agricultural capitalist rule, now industrial capitalists ruled. Their
race had not changed, the white race still ruled; the white culture of Greco-roman/Christian Aryan supremacy still ruled;
and white men were the ruling sex/gender. The northern capitalist were now in charge, but these whites now had common cause
again across class lines---white abolitionists included. The opportunist abolitionist whites disbanded, bought land
out west, invested in profitable enterprises working to death Black people and stood around doing nothing as the Klan terrorized,
burned, lynched, and murdered Black people back into the stone age. Look at the waves of lynchings.
Study
the racist legislation passed from 1874-1947. Look at how lopsided the voting was in favor of segregation/apartheid
laws in the North and in the South. No, these degenerate whites were not fighting to end Black enslavement. They
were organized to stop the spread of slave plantations on fertile west land that they wanted; they were fighting to take control
of the national government in the interests of industrial capitalism as opposed to agricultural. They were fighting
to restore the Union with the North in charge as opposed to the South. When they accomplished this, they closed the
Freedman's Bureau and turned loose the Ku KluxKlan. You know what happened for the next 85 years.
When the Klan began to march out of Tennessee (mid-1870's), mutilating, maiming, burning, lynching, terrorizing,
and mass murdering innocent Blacks, where was the abolitionist movement? No where. It had served its purpose for white
liberals---the end to the spread of slavery to vast stretches of westward land that these whites had prepared to take from
the plains Indians. They even used Black men, Black soldiers/mercenaries called "Buffalo soldiers" to help
them steal the westward lands by force of arms from the native populations. And like dumb driven cattle, these
Black men (who should had been fighting the nazi-klan with gun and sword) were out killing Indians and stealing land for the
sorry whites who paid them little or nothing for their crimes against humanity.
From the 1870's
to the 1920's slavery evolved into sharecropping, moving forward, eventually to turn into industrial capitalism by the
late 1920's. In the process, from the early 1930’s to the late 1950’s, Africans were driven
off of plantations in the South and into filthy southern sweatshops and decaying industrial factories in the North.
Housed in filthy ghettos, facing reigns of terror from white lynch mobs, fighting the Great Depression, Africans
began to fight openly for education, health care, food, clothing, housing, transportation, employment, civil rights, and equal
opportunity.
After fighting in World War I and II with no citizenship rights, no human rights,
and no respect, many Black soldiers came by to the South determined to take the rights that they had fought against Hitler,
and Togo
to reserve for whites. Again white liberals bought their way into the emerging Black Civil Rights Movement,
took it over, and gained control of the movement, achieved their limited goals, then immediately stopped funding the Black
political power stage of it by 1967. Again, like the earlier abolitionist movement, it had served its purpose
for the benefit of whites---their graduation to a higher labor echelon, increased salary, increased standard of living, new
suburbs, new everything. The Black populations, generally graduated to the obsolete jobs, dilapidating urban housing
conditions, schools and structures that whites were abandoning. A few million even graduated after going to university
to an emerging Black middle class of administrators and semi-skilled/skilled professionals. This was not the norm, with
barely 7.1% of the Black population having median incomes at or above $59,000 in early 2007.
From 1950 to the early 1970's, World War II had left the United States as
the only undamaged industrial power in the world. This was the period of the greatest economic expansion in world history.
Global markets had to be furnished with commodities in order to make white capitalists rich and to make white wealth
grow. The growth of white wealth made white societies grow, in addition to world white supremacy.
In sum, profits made from stealing land, enslaving and working to death Africans, pillaging natural resources, systematic
unequal exchange at the barrel of a gun plus mechanization, semi-automation, and automation made the United States rich.
Workers had
to be employed to produce the commodities, to sell on the world market, to make the profits. In the midst
of industrial labor shortages after World War II, whites needed unskilled industrial labors and, as much as they hated to,
had no other choice but to integrate the tens of millions of African workers into the lower section of the industrial work
force. Broom in hand, they marched into the dirtiest lowest paying factory jobs while white graduated to
automation, better pay, new housing developments, new schools, and new businesses in the suburbs.
Segregation was transformed by whites, after Black struggle, into integration.
This would mean integration into the economic homemarket also, a place for Africans to spend the wages that they had
earned instead of in their own businesses. Education, health care, housing, transportation, recreation,
retail, public facilities, lodging, stores, restaurants all had to be integrated. Grudgingly and with much
loss of African life, it was done as the African population struggled to forge a Civil Rights Movement that the whites infiltrated,
weakened, and ultimately took over. When the economic expansion of the US economy stopped in the mid-1970's
and the decline and decay of white capitalist society set in during the 1980's, the White Nazi Movement began to implement
its "Final Solution of the African Problem." Today they prepare, monitor the nation’s economic,
political, and cultural climate, and await real openings. At the moment of economic crisis they will take charge,
front and center.
From the death
of European feudalism to its regression back into slavery to its rebirth in capitalism to capitalism going through all of
its natural stages of development until its modern period of decay (1990’s-2008+)---these are difficult times.
Advances in robotic technology and their application to (use in) the production of food, clothing, shelter, transportation,
health care, manufacturing, construction, mining, and other societal services is ending wage labor, permanently unemploying
factory workers, and sending millions to the street---unemployed, homeless, hungry, sick, confused, angry, and in line for
some type of state action which ultimately leads to prison, hospital or homicide. The least skilled lose
every time.
This global process slashes the cost of production to the absolute minimum, drives
down the value of human labor and wages and forces more members of the household to enter the job market, work past retirement
age, or take on multiple jobs to maintain a slipping standard of living. Then their retirement benefits
and health benefits are cut or taken from them completely. When people don’t work, they cannot pay
for the goods and services. When they don’t work the tax base shrinks, government services are cutout,
schools are cut and closed, health care programs are severed, hospitals are closed, training programs are ended, children
are warehoused in overcrowded schools and prisons.
Without the ability to sell their labor
power, no wage or salary, and with no economic safeguards or political voice, the dispossessed must fight openly (in the streets)
on questions of necessity, such as food, clothing, shelter, education for their children, health care, transportation,
and protection against the emerging nazi police state. Black women again are the hardest hit.

Lessons Take charge of our lives now and in the future. There is no question that African
women are resilient, strong, and have walked through the fire. It is because Black women survived this brutal period
of enslavement that Black people as a whole live in what is now known as the United States. As hindsight is 20-20, we
can say that survival is not enough. Survival has permitted us to reproduce our population; however it has not helped
us to change the conditions of our existence such that we have charge of our lives, communities, societies, and nations.
Throughout the diaspora, we are on other people's land; mostly land that was stolen from others and which we were enslaved
to develop. We live the culture of whichever group enslaved us-Portuguese, British-American, Spanish, Arab-speaking
their languages, carrying their names, wearing their dress, adopting their beliefs, embracing their religions, etc.
While we cannot control into what culture we are born, we can certainly choose to study, learn, and change the direction of
our lives. Fight for what is right.
Always take the principled position, regardless of what the majority says is right or wrong. During the system of enslavement,
for example, the laws protected white right to brutalize Black women, men and children. According to the white people's
laws, they were ‘right' to harm us. But the principled position is that their lives were no better than ours
and they were wrong to harm us in that way. We should always fight for what is principled. Draw clear lines. We cannot raise children to know what is right from wrong when
we allow unprincipled things to happen while we stand by and do nothing. For most of U.S. history, Black people outnumbered
whites, particularly in the south; yet we let this brutal enslavement go on for as long as it did because not enough of us
chose to end it. Too many stood by and silently allowed innocent girls and boys to be torn from families, women and
girls to be raped over and over and over again, women and men to be treated in the worst of ways and worked to death.
What lines can be drawn when our hearts know that this is wrong, but yet it is permitted to continue generation after generation? Carry out justice. We have been too soft in the face of
brutality. Too much talking, too much bluffing, to much crawling, too much snitching, too much groveling, too many people
laying down, accepting defeat, becoming victims. There is no reason why Black women and men shouldn't have
carried out justice on behalf of all the innocent lives shattered by brutality. Look at what the rest of the world does.
We focused on wiping our tears and those of others or killing our children to save them from the experience of enslavement,
rather than eliminating the source of the pain, even if it meant our personal death. The spirit of fight is more valuable
to pass along than the spirit of cowardly acquiescence. Set positive examples for the ages. Make sure that generations
unborn stand tall. Black women as equals.
Throughout time and space, gender inequalities have been tied to the roles of women and men in the process of producing society's
goods. In class-based societies (where one economic class rules society), greater value was placed on paid work outside
the home (men's domain) than unpaid work inside the home (women's domain). However during (and since) enslavement,
Black women have always worked both inside and outside the home. Yet Black women have often not been regarded equally
in Black families, communities and organizations. When decisions are made, when struggles are waged, when work must
be done, women must be present in equal measure to men. No more male dominated organizations and struggles---leadership
must be both female and male. In a disagreement
on a decision. Usually African woman and men agree, so this process may not be used much. But when it is
necessary, it should always be used with principle, teamwork, and group success in mind. No egos, no stories about god's
choosing men to lead, no ribs, no mess. Where there is disagreement, after respectful debate, reflection and mediation,
the woman makes the final decision (independent of Arab and white mysticism/religions). The unit gets behind the decision,
works hard to make it successful, sums up the lessons, monitors quality control, genuinely gives its best, and prepares for
the next decision. If it does not succeed, the opposing male position is adopted, then a unity of the two if necessary.
After any debate, the goal is team/group/family success, regardless of the judge. This must be done in every area of Black
life to correct the history of Black male chauvinism. In this way the decision and it's quality and accuracy becomes
central, not who made it. Equality means have the same thing on one side as is on the other side. Justice is fairness,
balance and reciprocity. When things are out of balance, out of step with Maat, they must be put back in order.
Ast/Asr; Tehuti/Seshet, Heru/Skmet all are ka male/female principles of the unity and struggle of opposites toward complimentariness
and cooperation. They should be carefully studied.
Present Situation
Many of America's inner cities continue to hemorrhage jobs despite years of federal programs designed to improve their economies.
Nearly two-thirds
(66%) of the country's 80 largest municipalities lost jobs from 1995 to 2005. By comparison, only two of the surrounding
metropolitan areas (whites live and work) lost jobs during the same period. Preliminary Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) data
from 2006 shows the same trend. With Black women heading most African American household, they will be
hit hardest in the area of survival, health care, housing, child care, transportation, education, and stress.
A separate analysis of
employment data at the turn of the millennium found that most inner cities targeted by the federal government's primary
urban economic programs lost jobs as well. Most of those jobs lost were service jobs (telephone, secretary, social work, recreation
services, teachers, food services workers, etc.). White contractors and foreigners took those jobs from
Black women by the hundreds of thousands. In fact, the best-performing cities were not part of the federal
empowerment zone and renewal community programs, which provide businesses with billions of dollars in tax incentives to expand
and hire workers. Essentially, there are relatively few inner cities that are thriving in the sense of job growth.
Almost all inner cities that lost
jobs did so faster than surrounding white suburban areas. Among the best performing: Jersey City, N.J.; Long Beach, Calif.; Tulsa, Okla.; and Anaheim, Calif. Among the worst: Detroit; Grand Rapids, Mich.; Rochester, N.Y.; and Miami. Thirty-two
of the inner cities studied also had neighborhoods that were designated federal urban empowerment zones or urban renewal communities.
Of those, 12 showed an increase in jobs from 1995 to 2005. Only one, Mobile, Ala., added jobs at a higher rate than the surrounding metropolitan area.
With the loss of jobs folk cannot pay their rent, house-note, car note or buy food. Black women
caring for children are hardest hit. In some cases many Black mothers move in with relatives, move out
of the area, become homeless, families tear apart, children are abandoned, and the very fabric of once vibrant Black communities
fall apart.
Black mothers are forced to move to places they can afford. Schools then lose Black students and are
shut down, boarded up, closed while other schools are overcrowded, classrooms overfilled, and children are warehoused in a
maze of metal detectors steel fences and armed guards. Detroit, Michigan has closed more schools in five years (2002-2007) than they have built in 40 years. Our
children are treated as if they are worth nothing---shuttled from school to school while being forced to internalize a white
supremacy curricula which prepares them for subservience, dependence or just another cell-block. Then they
are asked to pass a white supremacy standardized exam and stand in line behind illegal immigrants for jobs that are earmarked
for populations without citizenship, education, or basic language skills.
The white
capitalist recruited/allowed into the United States over 15 million undocumented Hispanics (from 1980's to the early 2000's)
to serve as the next cheap labor force. This was planned. The demographic and economic patterns are too systematic
to be an accident. How else would that population surpass the growth Black population by 20 million people in less than
25 years? At the same time, Black people were/are kept out of the country---systematically. Look at the Haitians,
look at any undocument Black person from the Caribbean or Brazil trying to get into the United States for work. These
sorry whites intercept them at sea and return them to the suffering in the countries made to suffer by two centuries of US
imposed Monroe Doctrine/imperialism. The white radicals, liberals and progressives have not opened their mouths about
this racial discrimination. In fact, white churches are setting up English classes for these illegal populations,
while Black citizens go without life sustaining employment opportunities. Black people, legal citizens, need
jobs too. A jobless worker (regardless of the color) cannot pay a house note, buy food or fuel, buy clothes or
cars, buy water or power, or pay for transportation or education. Again Black women face the brunt of this oppression.
In fact, Detroit in late 2007
has 4 of the top 10 foreclosure zip-codes in the entire nation. Black folk are losing jobs and being forced
into the streets. In a city which is over 85% Black, less than 7% percent of the construction jobs go to
Black workers. Any white or Hispanic, uneducated and unskilled, can take these high paying jobs by just
showing up. Over $1.8 billion in construction has taken place over the past four years 2002-2006 in the
Detroit Standard Metropolitan Area, and yet less than 7% of the jobs have gone to African Americans. Black
women are all but locked out of the skilled and unskilled construction/engineering trades with less than 2 percent having
jobs---many of those are merely standing around flagging traffic.
Tax incentives do not revive urban areas with
chronically depressed economies. They were never designed to do anything other than transfer funds to capitalists---mainly
white men. The money ends up in the hands of clever cunning white capitalist who in the past fronted black
affirmative action, but no longer need to. White workers ended affirmative action in Michigan in 2006. White
women kept their affirmative action via planned legal loop-holes, so they voted against Black affirmative action along with
other white men. Black women and the families they support were hit the hardest, as usual. Since
2006, the unemployment rate for African Americans skyrocketed to almost three times that of whites in the state of Michigan.
Past government
programs were at best scams for rich white capitalists that fronted a few faces of entrepreneurial Black men to
get white entry into Black communities. Black women were and continue to be shut out of even these token
concessions. The Clinton administration launched the urban empowerment zone initiative in 1994, designating six zones,
in New York,
Chicago,
Detroit,
Philadelphia,
Atlanta
and Baltimore. Each was awarded $100 million for a host of programs, including job training, social services and tax incentives
for businesses. Fifteen more empowerment zones were designated in 1998, each receiving about $25 million. No widespread,
sustained job creation occurred. In fact, Blacks were moved out of those areas, under the guise of gentrification, urban
renewal, and downtown beautification. By 2000, none of this improved the conditions for the African American working class
in general and Black women in particular. White capitalists got richer; they were already rich. By
2007, Black women continued to carry the weight of suffering reflective of homelessness, cuts in health care, cuts in welfare
and food stamps, cuts in housing subsidies, cuts in child care provisions/headstart, school closures, hospital closures,
clinic closures, and nursing home closures.
After President Bush took office in 2001, grants were phased out in favor of tax incentives.
Again, white men with capital got rich. Urban renewal was Black removal; urban improvement was white gentrification;
urban downtown beautification was building baseball and football stadiums and casinos for whites who still had money to play
with, on city land, given, sometimes as low as a $1 (as in Detroit with Compuware), to rich white developers, venture capitalists,
and white businesses.
Lessons
It is impossible to unite unequals equally: (white/black; men/women; Greco-roman/cultures
they made appear inferior; capitalist/worker). When crisis hits, divisions become obvious immediately. Therefore,
people must be treated fairly and know it; women and men must respect each other in practice; children must respect their
parents who care for them. Reciprocity is equality in action, giving and being given to, loving and being loved, sacrificing
and being sacrificed for, helping those who help you, defending oneself by meeting force with force, respecting self first
then respecting others. This is Maat. No one-sided relationships should be allowed to fester rotten with distrust
and animosity. African men and women should be one, after they are equal, after the same thing on one side is also on
the other side. Let the white and Arab enslavers have their male gods. Black men and women should be equal in
this life and in the next.
On the question of alliances and black/white unity,
remember: No group of people does anything on basis of ideology alone (ideology
is essentially the expression of a groups economic and social well-being). This is important. There are real reasons
for everything. The lessons from 1460 years of direct Arab and white enslavement of Africans tell us that you cannot
stabilize/sustain a movement for liberation on the basis of ideas and like minds. Unequals cannot unite for the same goal.
Their interests are relative to the position they occupy in the relationship. Somebody's on top, somebody's
on bottom, rich/poor, slave owning/owned, cheating/being cheated, raping/being raped, chosen one/infidel, crusader/conquered,
having something/wanting something, in front/behind, knowing all/needing to know, miseducating/being miseducated, creating
a slavemasters constitution/obeying the slavemaster's constitution, violent against nonwhites/nonviolent against whites,
always winning/always losing, victimizer/victim. There is a direct/inverse correlation between what an oppressor has
and what the oppressed does not have: they are rich because their race has made you poor. They benefit from your
poverty, ignorance and disunity. Therefore, after all the rosy words, twists and turns, back and forths,
their actions will historically be solidly in defense of profits at Africans' expense. Honor their deeds,
not words.
Stay away from "Black-white unite and fight."
It is a trick. Judge relationships and people on deeds/reciprocity only: what they do. Study Kmt's
ancient collapse, study when the Greeks came in to unite and throw out the Persians, study when the Romans came in to unite
to throw out the Greeks, study when the Arabs came in to unite and throw out the Romans, study when the western whites came
in to unite to throw out the Arabs. In each case a new enslaver, in each case worst enslavement, in each case a new
jehovah, god, or allah---backed up with a sword, gun, germs, and bomb. Study Bacon's Rebellion, the Trail of
Tears, Seminole wars, Oklahoma land rights for modern day Black/Indians, American Revolution, Civil War, End of Reconstruction,
Civil Rights Movement, Black Power alliances---study these racial relationships closely. The oppressors got what they wanted
each time and modernized/tightened the noose around our necks. Stop wasting time in unequal relationships.
You first must know yourself, know your situation, and know the
other populations. Then you align with yourself first and foremost. Then,
on a case by case basis, you form alliances, after at least 9 months of study, with populations who work for you to have the
things they have and want for themselves, nothing more/nothing less. Trust is earned; make outsiders earn
trust. Nothing should be easy for them, especially if they come from a population that has historically taken advantage
of Africans.
Stop wasting time. Appreciate the lessons
of the past 2700 years of bondage. There are real lessons. Stop guessing and study; stop fantasizing and do the
research. You are not going to get any miracles from their saviors; they conjured them up for themselves, not you.
In this world, you will consistently get what you are organized to earn in life. That is the way it is.
If you cannot earn what you need in life, if you cannot/will not take your freedom---you don't deserve it. Handouts,
friendships without reciprocity---all of these are bribes, tricks, payoffs and token liberal gestures which breed dependence,
begging, and pleading. You have something they want, and you can be bought, cheaply. They know it. Just look
at all the Arab and white financed Black organizations crawling around in the Black community, dressed with rags tied around
their necks and tied around their heads, taking hand outs from the very populations holding us down. Pitiful. Disgraceful. Spineless.
Hat-in-hand. Unaccountable to the Black working class population---globally. Mere worn tools in the hands of oppressors
that sign their checks. Watch them closely, their deeds. They will always lead Black movements into white and
Arab sanctioned solutions that are detrimental to poor and working class Black people. Shut your water off, shut your
lights off, close your school, lay off your workers and replace them with privatized Hispanics and white workers, cut your
benefits, close your hospitals, close your clinics, evict you, repossess your car, charge you higher insurance rates, put
liquor stores and churches on every corner, cheat you from birth to death. And yet, all your Black Christan and
Islam leaders do is march around protesting and picketing, talking loud, saying nothing---a litany of tales told by an
idiot full of sound and fury signifying nothing. Do not waste your time. They are on the side of historical enslavers,
populations who have not changed fundamentally in 2700 years of invasions and slavery. They are tools, instruments,
willing victimizers, collaborators, harmers, and even mercenaries. Black women need to first develop their own leaders
independent of men. And only in equality, should there be unity.
The most recent
Arab and European holocaust and mass enslavement against African civilization happened in this real-world for over 1460 years.
And the all-powerful (but absent in the greatest hours of need) gods, were nowhere to be found for the over
600,000,000 innocent one’s who did not have the scientific material means to stop those who had the scientific material
means plus their own “gods” (that they themselves had made up in their own image and interest). Check
the ocean floors for the millions of bone fragment from broken African bodies just thrown over board ships. Sharks,
bloody-jawed and stuff full of human flesh and sinew, obviously believed they were "blessed" to be in the vicinity.
Surely, survivors of the holocaust of African enslavement have no business on their knees to the gods and allahs
of enslavers. And certainly not Black woman and children, who were intimately violated for thousands of years by these
brutes claiming to be holy, saviors, messengers, and bringers of peace---today is no different. Just look at Darfur
today. Look at those Arabized savage degenerates running around raping and burning to death Black childrenand women.
Over 500,000 Black people murdered by these Koran-carrying stool-pigeons. Why, the entire Black world should band
together and run those invader/settler thugs off the face of the earth. But how can they, crawling around with the Christian,
Islam, and Judaism religious ball-and-chain linking them to their enslaver's saviors, shams, and slave/servant stories.
Nothing but white/Arab supremacy in this world and the next.
Clearly, an African can be as scientific
as an Asian in Japan---we were in ancient African Kmt, before the
invasions. It was so in the past, it can and will be so in the future. This is something we can be sure of.
Africans can be spiritually driven to do as much or more for justice
using science as the Europeans and Arabs do to maintain their injustice against Africans. One
does not have to be anti-scientific to be pro-spiritual. Religion is not spirituality. Spirituality
is not necessarily morality. Morality---a system of right and wrong, good and bad, just and unjust---is what we
need. Let the enslavers have their religions, myths, and mess. It did not help one Black person during slavery.
It has not helped one Black child or woman in Darfur, today. Most Black people, brought up in societies with histories
of enslaving anything Black-skinned are used to bowing down, bending over, walking gingerly, and even crawling around to gods
of the enslavers. At the same time, these people are usually unjust, low in moral and ethical standards, self hating,
disrespectful of African culture and civilization, and have very low regards for anything Black and independent of whites
and Arabs. [This is a tremendous ideological error in the progressive aspect of the African-centered movement.]
Ideas do not drop from the sky. The question should be: What material
condition fortified the will in Whites to use science for whatever purpose in benefit of White civilization? What
material conditions was ancient African Kmt bequeathed that allowed for its 6000 years of developing science and spirit
in benefit of African civilization. How can those conditions be replicated as to ignite the spirit of Africans
today? To continue to be so many “just” Africans who allow so few “unjust”
populations to destroy so much and so many with so little is itself unjust.
Start at home with
equality between African men and women, mothers and fathers, joint leaders and co-presidents.
