MEMBERS:

University of Kmt Press is open to all Africans committed to the production and dissemination of accurate, historically grounded information as a contribution to the emergence of modernized, culturally sophisticated, morally sound, technologically proficient, egalitarian African societies.

UKP does independent self publishing but also teaches/consults with new authors on how to research, organize, and publish a book on a shoe-string:

  1. We explain to new authors how to get published and offer book self publishing, services, plain publishing, and on demand publishing,
  2. We support Black self publishers, offering publishing resources and informative self help templates/webpage design.
  3. We support print on demand publishing, print on demand publishers, and recommend that new users publish on demand in order to save money on bulk book buying.
  4. We specialize in manuscript/template/dvd/slide publishing, publishing books on demand, and helping new writers decide on the best publishing plan for them. Self publishers must find a publisher they feel comfortable with, who uses print on demand and book evaluation. It takes time for an author who writing and publishing a book to make decisions.
  5. We offer consulting services for book publishing, services for self publishing, and pride ourselves on doing the best publishing book job possible.
  6. We consult/extend self publishing book help to those who need it.

In sum, we are a self publishing book company who does small to medium scale book publishing while encouraging the self-publishing author with self publishing tool, templates, and techniques.
